Tourist Rooming House Issue

Short-term rentals are an increasing concern in the Northwoods. They may be great for our economy but not so great for our lakes. Noise, trash, septic, pets, parking, lighting, boats, campfires – is there a need for regulation? Oneida County Lakes and Rivers Association is currently working with their County Board to address these issues and create regulations. The Vilas County Lakes and Rivers Association is discussing how to approach the Vilas County Board on these issues.
