The 2025 Town Aquatic Invasive Species Partnership (TAISP) Annual Report prepared by the North Lakeland Discovery Center is available for your viewing at this link.

TAISP consists of the North Lakeland Discovery Center (NLDC), the Manitowish Waters Lakes Association (MWLA), the Winchester Town Lakes Committee (WTLC), and the Towns of Manitowish Waters, Boulder Junction, and Winchester.  This collaborative effort strives to control aquatic invasive species in the waters of our Northwoods and to promote stewardship for our lakes and rivers.

The Annual Report includes information regarding the NLDC Woods and Waters staff, the main aquatic invasive species in our area, monitoring and control efforts, preventative measures utilized and recently received State of Wisconsin Surface Water Grants.
